One Year Ago
It was one year ago at this time that I found out about my Gracie having a syndrome and that she wasnt going to be like the other children....I remember not even wanting to decorate the house or put up the tree, much less shop...all the toys in the store I didnt know if she was going to be able to play with......I was so sad......I am doing better this year. Gracie doesnt know it but she's getting "Elmo Live" I hope she likes him.....

We got Elmo Live in this house too!
I totally understand your bittersweet feelings. I usually have a rough time every year near Makily's birthday because that is when we found out. It's like YOUR ENTIRE world changes when you hear that diagnosis.
You and Gracie both have come a long way Maria. I am glad to know you.
